July 4th was less than a week ago, but apparently it’s Halloween time in Bucks County, PA.

The Spirit Halloween store has apparently started moving to the former Sears store site at the Oxford Valley Mall in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. And, despite being in the middle of the summer heat, it looks like we’re just days away from opening the store.

I saw that a friend on Facebook mentioned that she was shocked to see that the Spirit Halloween store was already opening in the mall, so on my way home last night I had to check it out with my own eyes, and there it is!

The store is certainly not open yet, but a spike behind the curtains appeared as if they were starting to load the store.

Spirit Halloween, operated by the Spencer store company, opens more than 1,000 of its super Halloween stores across the country each fall.

But it’s 113 days of Halloween right now, so isn’t it a bit too early to think about your costume? But we are not far. The retailer typically opens its stores in early August. We are therefore less than 3 weeks from the possible opening of this store.

I have contacted Spirit Halloween to find out when the store will open, but have yet to hear back. But something tells me we could pick up our Halloween decor and costumes VERY soon in Langhorne, PA.
