This Saturday (30) at 8:40 a.m. local time, SKY Airline Peru Lima’s maiden flight landed at Bogota airport. The Peruvian low cost will have three weekly operations in Airbus A320neo, with a capacity of 186 passengers.

Bogota becomes SKY’s fifth international destination in Peru, after Buenos Aires, Cancún, Punta Cana and Santiago de Chile. As announced, service between Lima and Miami will begin on June 7, with five flights per week.

According to the reservation system, SKY Airline Perú plans to switch to a daily frequency from July.

SKY’s main competitors on the Lima – Bogotá route will be Avianca, LATAM, Viva and Wingo. Taking into account the five companies, there will be more than eight daily frequencies between the capitals of Peru and Colombia.
