Aliens, zombies, ghouls, ghosts and vampires roam the grounds of Fantozzi Farms in Patterson, as the popular fall attraction reopens for its 19th year.

Fantozzi Farms, operated by Paul and Denise Fantozzi, offers a plethora of family activities, highlighted by the 25 acres of corn mazes with over five miles of trails. Within the mazes are 12 hidden checkpoints that customers can find and finding them all earns customers a certificate of completion.

Corn Mazes are designed to be enjoyed by all ages, some especially for the younger ones and featuring games to help them. The primary corn maze has an alien theme this year.

The yard has a hay bale maze, hay pyramids, large jumping pad, hay rides, corn cannons, cow train rides, a petting zoo, huge slides, a pit corn seed karts, go-karts, pig races, a zombie shooting range and of course a pumpkin patch, with selections from small to large.

For those looking to add a little more dread to their night, Fantozzi Farms offers a haunted ride through an attraction full of thrills and thrills. Rooms representing different fears were built along the way and some feature lively exhibits and others have live actors looking to scare off loaded cars.

“It’s not bloody or bloody, but it’s really scary,” Denise said of the ride behind the wheel.

Last year Fantozzi Farms had to deal with COVID-19 restrictions, so the drive through attraction was created. This year, they had to deal with the impacts of drought.

“For the first time, we didn’t have enough water to grow our own pumpkins, so we had to buy them to have the pumpkin patch,” Denise said. “We had just enough water to grow the corn maze.”

The corn maze is created using GPS, which allows for extensive and detailed cutting. Once the maze is completed for the season, all of the corn is cut and used as silage for the livestock.

The corn maze and courtyard attractions are open 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Entrance cost for the Corn Maze and Yard attractions is $ 10 per person and free for ages 4 and under.

The Haunted Drive-In Attraction is open from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays. The cost is $ 25 per car.

Cash only at the door.

The Haunted Road, Corn Maze, and attractions will close after October 31.
